After a week of being outside the USCHO.com top-20 poll, the University of Maine men’s ice hockey team swept Providence College to find themselves, ranked No. 20 in the most recent poll.
Boston College remains No. 1 in both the USCHO.com top 20 poll, and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine top 15 poll. Colorado College is ranked No. 2 followed by Michigan, Western Michigan – jumping three spots to No. 4 – and Minnesota.

Mangene ended his sophomore season with three goals and seven assists playing as a forward for Maine.
Now a starting defenseman for the Black Bears, Mangene has a goal and five assists for six points, including the four points he tallied this past weekend against Providence, one of which was a game winning goal over the Friars on Saturday.
Maine will travel to Boston College this Friday to face the top-ranked Eagles (7-1-0), and Biddeford native Brian Dumoulin. On Saturday, the Black Bears will head to Durham, NH to face rival University of New Hampshire.
