The Lewiston Maineiacs have called up Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia native Luke Dillman on Monday evening along with defenseman Stephen Woodworth.

Dillman a 5’9 forward is in his second season with the Cole Harbour McCain Major Midgets. In 21 games he has 17 goals and 9 assists.

“(Dillman) is playing a physical style and he’s going to the goal,” said Maineiacs’ head coach Don MacAdam. “He’s been one of the better offensive players for his team. His coach says he’s one of their leaders.”

Dillman will make his debut Tuesday night against the Moncton Wildcats and will make the trip to Cape Breton on Thursday.

This is part of the team’s plan to give prospects a second look at the QMJHL level.

“Its part of the plan where we want to give a number of players training camp as possible a second look,” MacAdam added. “They are apart of our future.”

The 17-year old winger was the Lewiston Maineiacs’ ninth round draft pick in 2009. In 24 games in 2008-2009, he had 15 goals and 11 assists.

Woodworth, 16, is making his second appearance in a Maineiacs sweater. He appeared in October 11th game against the Prince Edward Island Rocket. He spent most of the season with the Halifax Lions of the Maritime Junior “A” Hockey League. In 19 games with the Lions, he has registered six assists and 15 penalty minutes.

The team is heading into the four game road swing through the Maritimes with a full compliment of healthy bodies.
