A pair of players from Maine have earned weekly honors from Hockey East this week as forward Tanner House was named Co-Player of the Week and goaltender Scott Darling was named Pure Hockey Defensive Player of the Week.
House, a junior from Cochrane, Alberta, scored four goals and two goals with a plus-5 rating in a pair of Maine’s victories this weekend against UMass-Lowell and St. Lawrence.
Darling played both games this weekend for the Black Bears, finishing 2-0-0 with a 1.20 goals-against average and a .957 save percentage.
Maine forward Brian Flynn was an honorable mention after he scored a career-high five points (2g, 4a) against St. Lawrence on Saturday at the Cumberland County Civic Center.
NOTES: Biddeford native Brian Dumoulin tallied a pair of assists in his BC’s win over Clarkson. It was Dumoulin’s first multi-point game of his collegiate career.
