Ennis recalled to Buffalo; will make debut tonight

Tyler Ennis will make his NHL debut tonight after he was recalled by the Buffalo Sabres this afternoon because Drew Stafford suffered a hip-flexor injury on Friday.

Ennis, 20, has played in all 16 games for the Pirates this season, scoring six goals, seven assists for 13 points. The 5-9, 163-pounds was selected in the first round with the 26th overall pick in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

According to the Buffalo News, Ennis was expected to arrive two hours prior to game time and will most likely be paired with Thomas Vanek and Tim Connolly.
