Williamstown, Mass. – Connor Olvany scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Williams College men’s ice hockey team to a 3-2 win over Bowdoin in the NESCAC quarterfinals on Saturday. Bowdoin finishes their ’08-’09 season with a 11-12-2 overall record while the Ephs, now 15-8-2, will play second-seeded Middlebury at Amherst next Saturday.

Lewiston, Me- Revenge is sweet. Kennebunk defeated the Falmouth Yachtsmen last year in the regional semi finals. This time the tables were reversed. Gatineau, QC- The Lewiston Maineiacs began their three game road trip in three days on the right foot. They defeated the Gatineau Olympiques 2-1 in a shootout. Pier-Olivier Morin scored in the first period at the 8:49 mark of the first stanza. Denis Reul and Alexander Beaton assisted on the goal.
