In recent days, rumors have spread that the Lewiston Maineiacs are heading up north of the boarder. RDS is reporting that former NHL player Joel Bouchard is trying to make this happen.
Bouchard played 364 games in the NHL scoring 22 goals and 53 assists.

Lewiston, ME- Danick Paquette thought he back in his hometown of Montreal for the NHL Skills Competition for the Breakaway Challenge. He put the puck in between his legs in the shootout to give the Lewiston Maineiacs the 3-2 victory that sent 2,803 fans home happy.

According to Corus Sports, the move has been discussed at the QMJHL Board of Governor meetings that were held this week.
