BABSON PARK, Mass. — Host Babson College scored three unanswered goals in the second period to overcome an early 1-0 deficit en route to an eventual 4-2 victory over the visiting University of Southern Maine Huskies in an ECAC East men’s ice hockey matchup at the Babson Skating Center on Friday night.

MEDFORD, Mass. — Eric Simmons scored with 6:28 to play in regulation to lift the Colby College men’s hockey team to a 3-3 tie with Tufts University on Friday night. The Mules had a 42-30 shot advantage in the game and the two teams combined for 28 penalties and 96 penalty minutes.

New London, Conn. — Greg Parker stopped 34 of 35 shots in goal to lead Connecticut College (8-5-2, 4-4-2) to a 3-1 NESCAC victory against Bowdoin College (7-6-1, 4-5-1) at Connecticut College’s Dayton Arena Friday night. It was the third straight victory for the Camels, who improved their home record to 7-0-1 with the win.

Portland, ME – The Portland Pirates were finally rewarded for doing all the little thing right. Jhonas Enroth made 29 saves as Mark Mancari added the only goal as the Pirates defeated the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, 1-0, in front of 4,686 at the Cumberland County Civic Center on Friday night.
