Dumoulin and Gelinas highly ranked

The NHL Central Scouting Bureau released it’s mid term rankings. Defenseman Brian Dumoulin (Biddeford) is ranked 64th among North American skaters.

The 6’3 defenseman is in his first season with the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs of the Eastern Junior Hockey League. He has 3 goals and 17 assists in 25 games. He lead the Biddeford Tigers to back to back Class A state titles in 2007 and 2008.

Lewiston MAINEiacs’ defenseman Eric Gelinas is ranked 31st among North American skaters. He’s having an outstanding sophomore campaign with eight goals and 25 assists in 45 games. H’s fifth in scoring for defenseman in the CHL that are eligible for the NHL. He will be playing in the CHL Top Prospects game on Wednesday which can be seen at 7pm on the NHL Network.

Maine recruit Kelen Corkum was mentioned in the report under the limiting viewing category.
