Portland, ME – Mike Funk was released from a local area hospital in Lowell, Mass. last night and does have full movement of his extremities. He’s obviously sore and will be out for an unknown amount of time with a head/neck injury.

He’ll be further evaluated when the team returns to Portland on Monday.

But, that is the best possible news considering the situation and the look of the incident on the ice Saturday night in Lowell.
