Polar Bears force tie with UMass-Boston

Brunswick, ME — The Bowdoin College men’s ice hockey team rallied from a two-goal third-period deficit to force a 3-3 tie against UMass-Boston on Saturday. The Polar Bears stand a 1-0-1 this season while the Beacons are 0-1-1.

South Burlington, VT – Sophomore Jon Rutt (Scarborough, Maine) set up three goals as the University of Southern Maine defeated Saint Michael’s College, 6-2, in an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Men’s East game Saturday afternoon at Cairns Arena. The win gives the Huskies a split of their weekend road trip to Vermont.

Lewiston goes 1-3 on the road trip

Gatineau, QC- Seven Olympiques had two or more points in the 6-2 victory over the Lewiston Maineiacs. Buffalo Sabres prospect, Paul Bryon had a goal and two assists and Maxime Mallette added two goals. Goaltender Maxime Clermont made 23 saves in the victory. Eric Gelinas had a goal and an assist in the losing effort.
