The Portland Pirates will show off their new look for 2007-2008 and beyond as they unveil their new uniforms on Friday September 21st in a press conference to be held at 3:15PM inside the Cumberland County Civic Center.

This league-wide uniform innovation was established by Reebok with the National Hockey League earlier this year with performance and safety at the forefront of the design process. After more than two years of research and testing, the Rbk EDGE Uniform System will debut this fall in only two leagues worldwide: the NHL and the American Hockey League.

Pirates defenseman Eric Weinrich and his family will be part of the announcement. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase jerseys following the press conference.
