Ducks Draft and Update

By  Published: 23rd June 2007

The Anaheim Ducks have completed their draft and I have to say I was really impressed as once again the scouting staff did a good job filling the holes within the organization.

The Ducks made a trade dealing former Pirates Tim Brent to Pittsburgh for Stephen Dixon. I’m not overly surprised, but I’m disappointed for selfish reasons.

And finally the Pirates named their coaching staff “Officially” and I had a chance to speak with Gord and he was a pleasure to speak with.

UPDATE:

Ryan Shannon has been traded to Vancouver. The Ducks are really shaking things up today.

I am going to have a recap on all today’s news later this evening after I get a word with Kevin Dinnen and/or Brian Burke.

    Hey Chris,

I’m equally as disappointed for selfish reasons. Want my WB/S Dixon jersey? Maybe I can borrow your Brent jersey?
