The Portland Pirates will officially announce their 2007-2008 coaching staff tomorrow. The Pirates will be lead by Kevin Dineen, who will return for his third season behind the bench. It’s expected that Dineen will be joined by his brother Gord Dineen, who was the assistant coach in San Antonio for the last two seasons. As for the second assistants jobs, that is sort of a mystery at the moment. Eric Weinrich isn’t expected back as a coach, but rather he would like to play for the Pirates this upcoming season, but Anaheim has yet to make a decision.
